Two LSU Digital Media Arts & Engineering students, Katie Wilson and Meredyth Yorek (pictured above), came to the galleries to create digital scans of Thornton Dial’s artworks. Visitors will soon be able to interact with these digital scans and see details of Dial’s works, which are filled with found objects and made with multiple materials, on iPads in the galleries.
