In I Gave My Whole Life to Words: Lesley Dill American contemporary artist Lesley Dill explored the relationship between language and other forms of visual expression ranging from painting to mixed media installation and sculpture. The exhibition, organized by Arthur Roger Gallery in New Orleans in collaboration with the LSU School of Art, presented Baton Rouge audiences with a complex visual poetry that explored both the physical and abstract properties of words, featuring artworks and objects characterized by Dill’s complex interweaving of images and text.
