Join us for the inaugural lecture for the Decorative Arts Lecture Series focusing on decorative arts and collection response. This program will feature a lecture by Darius A. Spieth, PhD (Professor of Art History at LSU School of Art, College of Art & Design) titled The Art of Collecting Glass: A Personal Journey in the Field of Decorative Arts.
Join us in The Boneyard to watch a series of demos by ceramic artist Jessica Brandl on Tuesday February 8 and Wednesday, February 9 from 9–11:30 AM & 1–4 PM. The studio space is located on the 5th floor of the Shaw Center for the Arts.
Free admission from 1–5 PM. 2 PM: Tour the Form & Fire exhibition with LSU School of Art Ceramics Associate Professor and LSU School of Art Associate Director Michaelene Walsh. 2–4 PM: Watch ceramic demos with Matt Jones in The Boneyard studio space. Masks required.
