LSU Museum of Art's educator Grant Benoit will lead a discussion titled "Beyond Tradition: A Look at Contemporary Printmaking" for our monthly lunch-and-learn session in the museum's third floor conference room. Attendance is free.
About Grant Benoit
Museum Educator Grant Benoit is a practicing artist and art educator. Benoit holds an MFA in painting, drawing, and printmaking from Southern Illinois University and has held several artist residencies. Benoit delivered adult, children, and outreach programming at Bascom Center for Arts, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, Penland School of Crafts and in public school classrooms for a variety of ages from youth to seniors. Benoit is responsible for delivering hands-on arts programming for all ages, such as the museum’s ArtWorks and NAP, among other regularly scheduled museum programs such as Stories in Art, MUSE homeschool program, and First Free Sunday hands-on activities.
