Join us for a kid-sized program designed to support reading and art-making for ages 0-6 with parent/caregivers. Enjoy a book and art project designed to make families comfortable exploring in a museum setting. This program continues the first Friday of each month. 

This month, we'll be reading Caldecott Honor book Freight Train by African American author and illustrator Donald Crews. Following story time in the Pennington Family Foundation Education Gallery, we will head to the third floor studio to create colorful freight trains to bring home, made with pastels, fabric and paper.
