Join the LSU Museum of Art for the return of one of its original programs, River Views & Vibes.
This after work event begins at 6 p.m. in the LSU MOA galleries on the fifth floor of the Shaw Center for the Arts. Stroll through the reinstallation of the permanent collection, “Art in Louisiana: Views into the Collection,” while Magnolia Strings plays a selection of Baroque and classical compositions. Magnolia Strings features a trio from the principal and assistant principal musicians of the Baton Rouge Symphony and is owned and operated by concertmaster Borislava Iltcheva and principal second violin Aaron Farrell.
Refreshments will be provided by Capital City Grill, and a cash bar will be available until 8 p.m. After the event concludes, attendees can enjoy 15 percent off dinner at Capital City Grill with their admission sticker.
Admission is $10 for LSU Museum of Art members and $15 for non-members, and can be purchased by calling the museum store at 225-389-7210 or at the door.
