About Art in the Classroom
Interested in booking an art adventure in the classroom? Join LSU MOA’S Stories in Art to read and learn about Dave the Potter and participate in a clay workshop creating face jugs and poetry pots. Dave the Potter by Laban Carrick Hill is the story of an enslaved potter named Dave and the poetry he writes on the pottery he creates. This book was a winner of the Coretta Scott King Award.
